Common questions
What areas do you serve?
Mobile notary service across the River Parishes (including St. John the Baptist and St. Charles), Jefferson Parish, and the Greater New Orleans area.
Is there a travel fee for mobile service?
No separate travel fee if you're within my service area. The mobile prices are all-in.
What does a standard notarization cost?
An acknowledgement or affidavit is $20 in office, or $30 mobile. If you need the document drafted too, it's $35 in office or $55 mobile.
Can you handle car titles?
Yes. Auto title only is $30. Auto title with a bill of sale or act of donation is $50, drafting included.
Do you do Power of Attorney documents?
For out-of-state use, yes, at $20 each. For in-state use, I handle the Louisiana Mandate at $65 (drafting included). I don't notarize off-the-shelf Power of Attorney forms for in-state use.
Here's why: Louisiana is a civil-law state, so what most people call a power of attorney is a "mandate" here, and generic forms written for other states often get rejected by banks and title companies at the worst possible moment. A mandate drafted for Louisiana holds up when it counts. More on Louisiana mandates here.
Can you help me organize my family's important documents?
Yes. Start with the free 13-question Louisiana Family Legacy Readiness Check. A few quick questions, no cost, and it shows you exactly where your gaps are. Take the Legacy Check.
Is this legal advice?
No. My notary and organization services cover the documents and the education, not legal advice. Some matters, like blended-family estates or trusts, may need an attorney, and I'll tell you honestly when that's the case.
